Hi all, have searched the Internet, it's probably my incompetence, but I don't understand how to become a ride judge!?
I am interested in becoming a ride judge for hacks, cobs, hunters, riding horses and workers.
For the time being I would like to start of with just the ride judging, although I would like to think I have good knowledge on conformation, type and way of going - I feel I would benefit more from a few more years before wanting to do conformation.
I ride for various producers, horsemen, have been a 2nd rider for 2 international showjumpers, so have experience with a wide range of types.
Just would like to know the avenues to go down, age restrictions etc etc.
Thank you all!

Contact the various societies you would like to ride judge for and I’m sure they will point you in the right direction. My friend has just been doing a ride assessment for the chaps panel.
