We have a part bred coloured pony coming out this season. He is 4yo and currently 13.3. My daughter is 25 (although looks much younger). Having never had a part bred before should she wear long boots (our thoughts) or short boots? I seem to see varying combinations and would welcome thoughts please. Thank you

There would be no right nor wrong. A suggestion - why not have a little fashion show? Take pictures of your daughter on the pony (all dressed up/tacked up as if ready for a show). Both styles of boot. Compare the two - both / all of you - and maybe compare against pics of other similar ponies. Your daughter's overall comfort and 'feel' might also be a criteria.
Good luck with this new venture.

Good advice from Caroline. I had a 14hh coloured pony and as an adult I wore short boots as I thought it more correct. However when I tried long boots as someone suggested I looked at the photos and they looked so much better.
