Birtley Charm is 13 and stands about 12.2 Welsh B mare and passport with wpcs.
She has been shown in hand since a youngsters and been bitter and lunged but not in a while.
She has fire in her belly for showing and a look at me attitude. I never broke her to ride as she never grew big enough.
She is up to date with farrier, vaccines, dental, recent health check and worm count check and is good for them all.
I originally wanted to loan her as a companion but I’ve had no joy. So to the right home I feel I could possibly sell her as a project pony for someone to bring on or enjoy showing in hand.
She stays away from home no issues and her regime is out summer and stabled on a night in winter with limited turnout. She is happy to stand in if she has a routine and thrives of routine and is never bad mannered, she is obviously keen to go out when she can and may jiggle to the field. She has never wintered out and always been rugged.
She has been with me since weaning and due to my own personal circumstance I am in this position. I’m as honest as they come as only want the best for her.
She had laminitis back in 2008/9 but since then through management she has never had a problem. Hard summer ground or walking on pebbles she can feel a bit footy, but then so would I in my bare feet!
Her pictures don’t do her justice as she is in her winter woolies and not wanting to part with them yet. Over winter she has lost a bit of topline and muscle tone but once out she soon builds up. Some of the pictures of her over the years as I don’t have any recent showing ones.
For the first time in her life she has lost some mane but this has just started to re grow but her sister insisted on grooming her there.
I’m open to any question and happy for anyone to speak with my vet that’s how honest I am.
If I could loan I would prefer it and it could be an open ended agreement as long as I know she is being loved and cared for. For a loan I would let her wardrobe go with her.
She is based near selby North Yorkshire
