Can anyone tell me what is expected confirmation wise from a WH pony?
Are certain things looked passed or are they looking for exactly what is expected in a flat class?

Only 20 marks are allocated to conformation, type and freedom of action. The jumping round and manners and way of going in your individual show often brings the pony further up the placings. A judge will pick up on defects in the conformation phase and mark accordingly. However, you could have jumped a near perfect round and got top marks for your individual show which might come above a more correct pony conformation wise and often does. Hope this helps

When you jump it needs to be at an onward going rhythmic canter. It must flow, but your mount needs to respond to you and make a good shape over the fences, plus needs to look like it is enjoying jumping. The rest is similar to basic showing. Personally I would accept a lighter pony if it was carrying a slight rider, but that would go the other way too. In other words I might give an extra mark if suitable for it's rider or deduct a mark if unsuitable for it's rider. This would be in the type section. I disliked severe bits and incorrectly fitted tack and would deduct a mark in way of going.
