hi there, I have an unregistered welsh a cross b 11hh. Have been showing unplaited last year doing lead rein so both of us in tweeds but decided to plait him up and tackle the light legged section this year. We have a local show coming up that has lead rein light legged and lead rein m&m. Outfits are sorted (navy with red accessories) and was going to plait. Organiser has confirmed that the m&m is open to unregistered and part breds. So my question is do i do the light legged and keep him plaited for the m&m but just change into our tweeds and change the browband or should I unplait him too?

even though he is unregistered he is still an a-b cross which makes him an m&m so should be shown unplaited.

Thankyou for your reply, so take his plaits out for part bred m&m classes

An a x b is not a part bred. Even though he is unregistered he is technically a section B. His registered status does not matter when it’s unaffiliated.
