According to the paramedics, the Air Ambulance rider was air lifted as a precaution and returned later.
The person who was kicked in the face in the Novice Int WHP was spotted riding in another ring in another WHP class later in the day, (different animal) though it was reported that she still seemed shaken up.
It was also reported that the animal which kicked her when she came off it, had already been causing problems in the collecting ring

Tybanadl Gwilym won the heritage Open large breeds, he was also pulled top in the rihs qualifier and thanks to the bin man who decided to drag his plastic bin bag at the side of the ring when he was galloping causing him to do a massive spook he was dropped to 7th.

I wonder if it was the same bin man that reversed into the lamp post in front of our stables, the post snapped in two - fortunately it landed on the hard standing, but only just missed a very expensive lorry. He just drove off!

The little girl that was airlifted to hospital was mine having come off her sisters pony in the Nov 133, it was purely precautionary, we stayed overnight in Lincoln General and she came back and rode in FR the following day on her own pony. Have to say everyone was fantastic - paramedics, BSPS and 1b members who kindly looked after the ponies! Alls well that ends well, and Lizzy managed to get new joddies, that coveted jacket with a pink stripe and new shirt, because they cut her out of her wet things (she landed in the water tray) and kept her immobile until 7pm as there was some concern about her neck on her Xrays, she also got a new teddy into the bargain from the helimeds! Hope that the girl who was kicked was okay.
Thanks for asking.

Thanks Chloe, Good job Will had qualified the week before or else the bin man would have needed the paramedics.

Thanks Chloe, Good job Will had qualified the week before or else the bin man would have needed the paramedics. Ha-ha! Love it! we were in your class and wondered why you were dropped (i was no doubt chatting at the time and missed the bin-man episode!) Good luck @ RIHS with your D ... and we had a wounded soldier too! daughter riding her small ISRT on grassy bank slipped over and then stood on her little paw as he scrambled to get up ... they say accidents come in threes .. that must be the third! glad nobody suffered a serious injury (i did speak to air-lifted young lady on Sunday @ Equinational shop and she had a lovely big smile and said she was fine, thankgoodness)
