hi, denzil, i meant the person was asking if anyone had seen this incident, wondered if you had replied to them?

no i dont believe that is true, i only get as involved as others do and dont watch from a distance at all, i am beginning to find some people very patronising on this site to be honest, why cant i ask denzil if she had responded to that person? i didnt discuss the topic on here. Trouble is with these sites people who TRULY say what they feel are not appreciated, those who say what they think others want to hear are, i speak from the heart and say what i mean and if more people in life did the same the world would be a far less confused place to live, sorry just my thoughts, but i thought that is what these sites are for, maybe i am wrong?

Please excuse me if I have it wrong, but I was under the impression that this whole site was entitled 'HoresgGossip'.
Gossiping - having a good moan even, is one thing, but blatant scandlemongering is quite another.
(I am, of course, refering to people who only HEARD ON THE GRAPEVINE that - for example, a horse or pony did something it shouldn't and remained well placed)
What gain is there if something gets sensationalised out of all proportion, a bit like the old fisherman's tale?
And, brings in innocent people, who probably were not there and had no connection with the incident?
Do not bash the site moderators, they are here to do just that.

There is nothing wrong with speaking from the heart - it's HOW you word it that matters. On HG we are more liberal than most sites (more liberal than show societies would like us to be), but there are limits even on here. The mods have been advised that you allegedly caused trouble on other sites so, unfortunately for you, your posts are being watched with interest.

I would like to add, this site is what it is, and has been this way for a long time. There are many other forums out there, where people are all nice to each other, don't speak out of turn, and if they do their posts are removed, and people are banned for being too outspoken.
If people don't like the way this site is, or how it is run, why on earth don't they choose another site that is more to their taste? There's enough of them out there for goodness sake!
I believe one of the reasons Horse Gossip is so successful is that people can say what they think, but also that they are grown up enough to accept that other people might disagree. I think it's important that if people have a gripe or a grievance, they can air it on here, and I know that many of the societies sit up and listen to what goes on on HG.

milliesmum - I like this site, but what I don't like is the people that say such nasty things about others and take it too far.

Apple123 I can understand that, and we do have rules and try to keep on top of that sort of thing. Hence why I locked the results thread where that was happening. What people need to do is have a GENERAL discussion on the subject, if they feel strongly that producers shouldn't be qualifying multiple ponies that's fine, but don't get personal.
Also I guess what I'm trying to say is that if someone has a strong opinion, then somone else might have an equally strong but opposite opinion, but lets discuss it in a positive way and not throw our toys out of the pram!!!
If anyone can see where something like this is happening, let one of the mods know, and we can keep an eye on things.

Yep! That's what I think. The personal attacks aren't nice and it gets like a school playground with the 'name and shame' tactics when the original topic was results of a show. I like moaning and have strong opinions on certain subjects but have learnt to choose my words more carefully and I would never say anything on here hiding behind a monitor that I would not back up in a face to face conversation, most people aren't interested in what I have to say anyways LOL!

no, not caused trouble, put a post up about first riddens, attacked from every direction and stood up for myself! 99% people are great on here, i would rather say fine you are right, whatever, than argue with a complete stranger to be honest and same as apple123 i wouldnt say something on here that i'd be worried about saying to someones face! i have never been personal towards any incident in a ring and never would name n shame anyone on a gossip site, i do like this site, tried some others that were cr*p and came back here, so it must be ok! But, some people can get rather too personal and choose to keep jumping down the same persons throat all the time, which there really is no need for, i.e i shouldnt comment on hunters, because i do not own one!!! thats ridiculous! neither do i have a section D but have commented on threads to do with them, havent had any rude comments from the D's owner, very strange.

maybe we should start a new club and call it the "We hate judges and producers club" !!!!! could have some badges then atleast the people who're getting slated on here will no who is doing it when out at shows! what do you think!!! i dont wanna be in it, but just thought lots of folk on HG would like it!! it could be shortened to the AJNPC (anti judge and producers club!) Dont think there is a badge big enough ;D
