Thank you for those kind words - this is Lester pinching some of the treats when I was setting up the shot!  And this is our brown burmese - we did a couple of shows with him but he wasn't enjoying the experience (got too grumpy!). So instead he teams up with Lester and systematically destroys the house!  |

Yup, full-time pro photographer: www.neilfortescue.comI don't usually take many of our cats but I had the studio kit at home for some reason so thought it was about time I had a play. Used black velvet as the backdrop (brilliant at absorbing light) and 2 layers of diffuser on the main grid. Then just had to try and get them to sit still long enough to actually get a shot! |

VERY VERY sad week again. ............
Bertie Bassett ovbiously decided he needed to PERK ME UP a bit! I was lying fast asleep in my bed - when along came Bertie, jumped on my head, grabbed a great lump of hair - in his mouth and PULLED VERY HARD !!!!! Talk about a rude awakening!
He then nestled down with me and Pickle, very pleased with himself for getting our attention so quickly!
I am thinking of sending him to live with HEATHERS for a month, to cheer her up!

Sunday night, I was sitting having a glass of red wine and nibbling on a babybel. Bertie Bassett arrived and took great interest in my cheese. When I tried to defend MY cheese, he nicked the purple wax cheese cover and promptly ate that instead!
I was worried it would poison him, but he was so quick to devour the lot, I didnt stand a chance!
Anyway, he is his own perfectly naughty self, so I dont think it hurt him too much.......

SHE HAS PEED AND POOPED ON THE SOFA THIS WEEK.....................

OMG, this is why I have a dog now and not a cat!!!!! My OH would have gone ballistic if mine had done that! I think a leather sofa would be a good idea! Oh and laminate floor!

I would never call Bertie a "good boy".......but he is very good in the lavatory department, as is Mr Pickle. Is this a girl cat thing/problem? I have never had a problem with any of my boy cats? We do have a leather sofa, its BROWN.......Perhaps she thinks its to camaflage POO  ? What can I do? I have put food in all the corners of the lounge, where she used to pee, which has stopped the problem brilliantly. Therefore she has moved on to the sofa! I have now shut the lounge door to see if she finds another suitable area........like outdoors! LOL x |
