Hello from another Newbie - advice needed!!

Hii!! My name is Bethany and I'm nearly 16, I have two ponies, an 8 year old Appaloosa X Cob gelding named Sam, and a 3 year old New Forest gelding named Gonzo.
I've joined this forum after meeting Jade Canon at Brookhead becuase I recently bought my NF and I'm not sure about which shows to take him to due to his breed being mistaken quite often, so please if you know anything about NF showing and suitable shows for his breed please let me know because I need all the help I can get with him!! ;D
I've got one exam left and then I've finished school forever!! So its a long summer for me thank goodness and over the summer I'm going to back my new youngster.
I dont have much more to say haha!! Thats all there is about me

hi, i'd say get out to as many shows as poss, its the best way to learn..and dont worry we have had our sec A mistaken for an arab and a sec B!!!mmm??!! enjoy your summer!!np x

Hello Bethany!!! Glad you made it!!! As I said at the show - Either NPS (National Pony Society) or BSPS (British Show Pony Society) are probably better as the New Forests are then only in with the Connemaras - rather than being in with all the big hairy beasts!!!

If you have a look on both those websites it may give you more of an idea?
