Mr JMB will you be looking at alternative payment methods. I am trying to get a pony measured and none of our family including our business have cheque books anymore.

We are still operating in the dark ages with regard to cheques but if you call us we can give you our bank details so you can do an online transfer.

Do we know how long on average it takes to get measurement certificate back? We got our boys full JMB done about a week and a half ago,, I know it's probably the busiest time of the year for JMB, so wondered how long until we should expect it back?

We wait for cheques to clear which takes 6 working days after we pay them in to the bank. Add a day or two for the docs to reach us and another day or two for Royal Mail to deliver to the owner. We are quoting 10-14 days from when we receive the correct docs and cheque.

I have just sent for a life height certificate for my pony who is 10yrs. I had an annual one done previously and didn't join BSPS. I now want to join and have just read small print on their membership form which says that the pony should have an annual one the first year of joining then a life height the year after. Is there anything I can do?

" So, to help you I listened to the answerphone message and I found it very comprehensive - indeed, I cannot see a problem! Advice is that:- Routine JMB certificates will be dealt with as normal - the list of JMB Measurers and the rules can be found on the JMB website (as normal) and, any urgent enquiries can be directed by e-mail to admin@thejmbonline.co.uk This advice is also written on the JMB website, www.thejmbonline.co.ukHope this helps.

As a matter of interest, how many measurements are dealt with each year by the JMB?

How many days do the JMB allow after recall for a horse to be remeasured before it invalids their height certificate please?
|
|
|
Post by paddy123 on Nov 7, 2013 17:35:35 GMT
3. The re-measurement must take place within 20 working days of the date of The Joint Measurement Board Limited informing the owner or notifying the owner that a re-measurement is required.
That's whats written in the rules...

when the 20 working days are up does the JMB then withdraw the certificate if the horse/pony is not presented for measuring and put the result on the web site?
