Check out Lostock Stud, they have/had Acado and Atilla and also used to have Painted Percy. All I would think would be available by AI. Honeypot Sporran is also homo (I think) but no idea if AI Check out the CHAPS and BSPA websites to see who is graded with them as both have lists on there. What type of mare are you wanting to use him on and what do you want to produce?

Thank you both! Tessy - am just toying with ideas at the moment. Have a Welsh Sec C mare (13.1hh) that I would like to experiment with and have always wanted a coloured - would like to go down the more traditional route tho. Would be glad to receive any advice going!!

We had some semen here last year from a Homozygous traditional cob stallion who I think is 15hh, good quality semen too, he was called Thomas of Giverndale.

www.pferdestud.com/#Yes cgreen the clients mare took first time and has since foaled a cracking colt. We do loads of AI here as well as natural , and although we are not as big as say Country farm stud we had 32 mares to inseminate this year with either our own stallions semen or semen from away and 30 of them are in foal. The trick is to have a good repro vet to make sure all the timings are right, and to have a good microscope to check that the semen is up to scratch.
