would like to say R.I.P our little dog suzie a springer spaniel, who got rushed into the vets on thursday and sadly died tonight.

She gave birth to 6 gorgeous little puppies, all was fine until a couple of days after giving birth she became extreamly ill, thats when we took her to the vets on thursday. She had two more pups stuck inside her what where rotting, and it was poisoining her. They operated on her yesterday and her heart stopped whilst operating but managed to get it going again. She was doing good overnight and all today she was geting better, but all of a sudden she decreased and sadly died.

Yes we have another dog who has just had pups and only had 4, so she has took them all on and they are doing fine.

Oh so sorry that is our worst nightmares. Happened to one of my dogs 3 years ago although we didn't lose her. Lucky you have the other dog taking them on hand rearing is a nightmare.
Was she a young dog?
