Is some blatant stirring attempt, or is there a point to your post?

no stirring genuine rule breaking, connection with one of the judges.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dont the 'Langfield Nightcap' people own a Llanath pony as well so how can they go to HOYS , surely this is a connection with the judge ?? Is this what "Bigbrother" is talking about?

If you own a pony bred by someone yet are showing another then its not a problem providing the judge hasnt bred, produced or sold said pony, i think its a stirring post no cheating from what i can see !

Whats the betting that the big pro yards won't get dope tested. We were told of an owner who requested her produced pony to be tested at HOYS a few years ago and a person told her her pony would definitely not be tested and to get on and do the class. Random testing Huh.

Random testing Huh. exactly the same happened in one of the horse classes at the royal-the governing society would 'not allow' this well known yard's horse to be tested even though the judge requested it!

As far as i am aware with BSPS you can't exhibit any ponies you own under a judge you have bought from until a certain time limit has expired, and obviously you can never show the pony you bought.
NPS rules have confirmed that this is a grey area in there rule book for this year and changes will be made for next year and even tho the rules state "the pony' cannot be shown it does not state about any another pony however they expect people to use some common sense and honesty and do what is called 'the right thing' and not compete if there has been any financial gain from selling ponies. So this would be up to the individual and their conscience if they show another pony.
Regarding doping i am told that they dont test at hoys unless you object and put money down to have one tested.
HOYS dont seem to bother too much about rules so if you want to cheat here is a good place !!!!!!!!

My horse was dope tested at HOYS either last year or the year before (can't remember, it all blends into one!) - we are a pro yard. I understand it is random selection,

Re- Dope testing we are on a producers yard and my pony was tested at nps champs , i had a long conversation about the whole thing and he said to me that at hoys they pick out certain classes and he assures me that if i sat and watched every class i would see him walk into the ring at the end of the class with a bag containing all the competitor numbers and 1 of the numbers would be picked out by the judge this horse/pony would be tested he was a very nice chap and very approachable so look out for him and ask for yourselves

What it was the same person at NPS who also spoke to the owner of the pony at HOYS? There is that chance if we are thjinking randomly. And Surely it's far worse that people are going to compete under people who have employed them

here we go again, HOYS is just about to start and the back stabbing HAS started, why all the cryptic clues if you are sure of your facts then name who you are talking about so that it can be checked and looked at to see if any misconduct is happening, put up or shut up and let the rest of us enjoy ourselves either as competitor or spectator.

I can't see why it's far worse to compete under people who have employed you? Just because you are employed by them doesn't neccesarily mean they like you or would do you any favours. There would be no judges and no riders if there was a rule against this now with so many of our riders going on to judge. I'm now judging people who employed me. I judge people who are my customers in my professional life. I judge people who are my suppliers in my professional life. How does that stand? Am I automatically bent? I can't tell who is coming in the ring remember. Can we leave off the judge bashing? Judging HOYS and the RIHS is frankly horrible for judges at the best of time without people assuming the worst before it starts.

Pleased to see healthy debate and opinions being raised by all of us lucky enough to compete this week. Showing is a small circle and far better the whispers passed around the ring are stopped by those affected.
