Remembering my boy Sam

Six weeks ago I had to say goodbye to my boy, I have only ever had one horse apart from ponies as a child, and this was him
Sam was part arab he was 32yrs and I had him for 20 years I loved him dearly and he saw me through all the good and bad times. I will never stop missing him I had to let him go as his heart was failing he was put to sleep on a sunny day with great dignity.
He was my horse of a lifetime goodnite my boy, wait for me at rainbow bridge.

I had to have my 32yr old mare pts. I got her when I was 12 years old. It was about 6 years ago now but still i cant talk about her without crying. You gave your boy a loving home for all his older life (not many can say that). I never could replace my mare, i got a lead rein pony for my daughter instead. Really feeling for you as I know exactly the hole your boy has left. Im sure my old mare Candy will have met him at rainbow bridge x x keep your chin up and remember the good times. x x
