Looks good! Just 2 points...... on the friday there is 3 classes for the ridden m&m, I would like to do all 3 classes but to do all those in one day is just too much!!! Also can we have a ridden m&m section indoors please? ?

Has anyone else looked at the M&M LR & FR classes.
The times look really tight again especially on Thursday and Friday. There are 4 novice classes starting at 8.30 and 4 open classes starting at 10.30. Is there a reason why we can't have one set in the morning and one set in the afternoon? Friday the mini M&M's times are close to the junior handler classes which again many of the children like to do both. This year the mini M&M classes ran late and as they were huge took a long time to judge. When our classes ended up clashing we transfered to another class (which we hadn't previously entered because the times looked too close) and when inevitably they clashed as well we did not get a refund. With the scheduling so close again next year I will definitely think twice before entering.

Just to confirm - on Thursday the 138cms are in with the 148cms. If we get sufficient 138cms Show Ponies we will divide the classes - but the Show Pony classes have not been that well supported over the last two years - so we have not put on the full range of classes on all days.
Yours sincerely,
Betsy Branyan

I see you are having a Rare Breeds championship on the Saturday. Other than the Cleveland Bay classes, where are the classes for other "Rare" breeds??? Royal London ran Foreign/Rare breeds classes that had good pre-entries. There is nothing on your schedule that I could enter my horse in. He is Friesian, and as I have sold my carriage, I can't even do the World Breeds driving class with him! It's a shame, as we really enjoyed the first Equifest with our other driving horse, but have been unable to attend subsequently due to having no classes.

could anyone tell me how this show works??? sounds a silly question but going for first time this year and have a few questions. if i qualify at one of the affiliated shows then am i eligible to enter any of the other classes at equifest?? ie; if i go in the riding horse class at prestige and qualify, will i be able to come to equifest and do more than just that class that i qualified for?? also how much is stabling here? and do you have to be an equifest member to compete at the show? Thanks

Yes of course you can enter any appropriate class. Its just that the classes marked with Equifest in bold are championship classes and you have to have qualified to enter - mind you you can qualify at Equifest.

Stables are £100 for the duration (I believe) & no, you don't have to be a member to compete but get reduced entry fees if you are!
