broken 4 months and brought on slowly since then, he is being professionaly schooled and is hacking out alone or in company, through woods, over motorway and river bridges and in heavy traffic plus on the moors, never silly or spooky - very mature for his age. Mickey will follow you to the end of the earth once you have his trust.
He has been correctly schooled learning to bend, flex and stretch down through his back making him an excellent dressage prospect, he is very quick to learn and just wants to please! He has fantastic long loose paces. Mickey has been cross country schooled proving to be brave and bold and jumping everything asked (even the steps when an older horse in front ran out!) He is a very rewarding ride and is a complete blank canvas, he will truly excel in any discipline, Mickey never bucks rears or bolts, he is very light in your hand and has a soft mouth - working in a consistent outline at all times.
Mickey is fantastic to handle in every way, my 2 year old sits on him whilst he eats and wheels his little wheelbarrow in his stable to feed him carrots out of! He is never strong or bargy, currently unclipped but well rugged and fit, loads and travels well and is a pleasure to have around.
Mickey would suit any rider as he is completely bomproof, he will however excel with an experienced rider.
