Is anybody going to the spring festival? We haven't been before but, if anybody went last year do you know how many were in the novice and open lead rein and first ridden m+m finals. Thanks.

The schedule should be up on their website (www.nationalponysociety.org.uk) soon but the timetable is already there under 'shows', 'Spring Festival 2010', 'provisional timetable' (at the bottom of the page. If anyone can open it could you email me a copy please as I can't download it for some reason!

By the way TheHighlandPony you have to qualify for the finals but, if you look at the timetable there are qualifiers on the day. x

We were in the FR open finals last year for about 15 mins but daughter came out as it clashed with the JNR qual, I think there was about 18 in. A similar no in the LR but I am sure there where quite a few more the previous year.

Sorry Snowflake - I messed up trying to include a quote. Just wanted to ask if you were sure about qualifying on the day as I can't see it on the schedule anywhere but would like to try with my HIghland if that was the case.

no there are qualifiers for the winter finals on the saturday and the actual winter finals on the sunday. taking my section B instead now for his first show of the season, he's been schooling really nicely. i have to get up at 5 to get there in time and leave the yard at quarter to 6(we're meeting up with friends on the way so that we're parked next to each other). and we only live half an hour away!
