Pentrefelin Ladykiller. ( Charlie)
Sire: Pentrefelin Jake by Pentrefelin Taliesin ( Nebo Prince x Asbourne Mari Llwyd) Jakes dam, Synod Rumour ( Brynmor Welsh Magic x Synod Robina )
Dam; Pentrefelin Bonneddiges by Nebo Prince ( Nebo Brenin x Nebo Rosebud ) Bonneddiges's dam Llanfair May Lady ( Oakhatch Cymydog Da x Llanfair Princess )
Beautiful, bright bay 4 yr old stallion. 4 white socks.
He is classically bred as serious breeders will appreciate. Many cobs in his immediate pedigree have been top priced animals at Brightwells sales, and have proven performance records. This is unrepeatable breeding.
Maternal half brother to :
Pentrefelin Bonnie Prince Charlie, HOYS qualifier,
Pentrefelin Cymraeg, twice qualifier in the British Dressage to music finals.
Pentrefelin Catalina, Many times champion undersaddle.
He was shown extensively as a yearling by Georgie Mitchell and Clare Granger of the Dycott stud, winning many championships. He is a lovely mover with a long balanced stride.
Since then, he has been turned out with other young colts, was brilliant to catch in a massive field and come away from the group, he's loaded in a horsebox and trailer, travelling well. and has had his feet done regularly. He was shod when he was shown.
Lately he has started work he lunges and long lines well, very respectful when being worked and has good manners being handled by women, he never pulls and is not strong. He has been lightly backed and took to being ridden without any fuss. Walking trot and cantered in a soft outline. Hes not been rushed and work wise he seems to take everything in his stride.
Charlie is very correct, has lovely clean flat bone and lovely silky feather. A beautiful head and eye and a fantastic length of rein, and tail set.
He is now ready to go on to complete his education and has the breeding to be a top show stallion of breeding stallion.
He is licensed and very kind with mares, I await his first foal this year.
Charlie is happiest around other horses. He loves attention and is everyone's friend.
The only down side is he has been seen to windsuck occasionally.
I have decided to seriously reduce my cobs after many years of breeding top class cobs, so Charlie is now on the market.
Can be viewed near Reading.
The photo was taken as a yearling.
Open to sensible offers.
