What a lovely tribute to an absolute super star. His influence certainly will live on through generations of riding ponies and he most certainly won't be forgotten.

omg such a loss loved him still in SHOCK miss him alot and sucha good breeding stallion and his youngstock and ponies that he bred are a real credit as he just won stallion of the year for 3 years in a row in the NPS annual book

R.I.P Mattie, you gave me my pony of a lifetime, who shall stay a part of my family forever.
The facebook page dedicated to him is lovely. Looking through the pics everybody has uploaded of his progeny, it is amazing how he influenced his stock whatever mare they are out of. They all look like him! May he live on forever through them all xxx
