There is a little cat that is always hanging around our house. I think it belongs to our neighbours next but one but I am not sure. Thing is this cat is left out in all the time (day and night) in really bad weather, even when it was snowing really heavily. She always comes over to you and I have fed her a few times. (OH would go mad if he knew). I have often thought about letting her into our house but I think our biggest cat may kill her, he is very territorial. Do I report the situation to the RSPCA and risk upsetting the neighbours or just keep my nose out? I just don't know.

aww bless....why dont you go ask the person who you think she belongs to if she is actually theirs and see what they say... she may be an outside cat? i wouldnt keep my nose out im afraid, but to be honest the rspca prob wouldnt do a flippin thing anyway.. go ask them first and see what response you get from them.... do they seem genuinely concerned..or otherwise... good luck and keep us posted.

Yes def go and ask neighbours, my friends cat hates going into the house and she worries herself sick about him, he would rather eat and sleep in the shed or greenhouse. Good luck

Yes I suppose that is true she could be an outside cat, I guess I imagine that all cats live in the lap of luxury like my two. They only go out to do some business and that is it. (mind you twinkles has been out a while will have to go and look for him in a minute) Not sure how to approach neighbours. they do work long hours I guess i could say to them next time I see them if they would like me to feed thier cat somedays if they are late home from work. If they say 'what cat?' then I will kow it is not thiers! Penstock you are probably right RSPCA may well not be interested anyway.
