i spent the best part of the night talking down the "big white telephone" and i can honestly say its been years since i have felt this bad - my poor little girl who suffered the same thing on monday night and is still recovering herself has been looking after me like a star ... and has even done some cleaning downstairs and just brought me a cup of tea which i managed to sip without it coming back .... things are looking up.... thanks georgie love you!! shes only 12 xxx i hear theres alot of this sickness bug around at the moment!  anyone else had it?? |

poor melons, nothing worse than being poorly. You havent been loitering in the friendly chat thread have you? We all seem to have had it in there, perhaps you caught it off one of us?! will send you a get well karma to make up for it

Oh poor you. I had it a few weeks ago but I had the trots as well, I wanted to die, I thought I was going to. Really really poorly, emergency doctor etc. Found that Actimal really helped getting tummy back in order once the worst is over.

i have been very lucky that my hubbie and kids have looked after me and my good friends looked after ponies not sure what i would have done otherwise... been in bed now for 48 hours and just going to attempt a shower and get back to it today i hope. thanks for messages keep well everyone !!! lol xx

thanks for all your messages feeling much better now .... great to be back out in fresh air again ... has been really nasty though has spread like wild fire through family my daughter, then me, then my brother and then my husband today... just waiting for my son to get it .... anyway know there are people far worse off but glad to be on this side of it ... on plus side lost 6 lbs in weight yippeee !x |

It is the most dreadful bug, think it is norovirus. I don't have a scales, I am rather thin naturally but I felt so frail and weedy afterwards so think I lost loads.
