bit annoying there are 4 classes for SP LR on the first day then nothing?? I think they try to keep them to one day as people complained in the past at having them spread out so they had to stay all week at extra cost! Mm I sort of see that but would anyone really do 4 classes in one day?? Would much rather do 2 on 2 days!

You also need to remember that if you enter the Picton final this year you can't do Picton classes next year.

dancer is that on the same pony ? if it is thats fine, we weren't planning on doing novice classes in him next year as we don't feel it's fair to true novice ponies, we are planning on doing hoys&rihs qualifiers. thanks x

If my daughter was lucky enough to get through to an evening performance would she need to wear anything different to normal show ring attire? She is 7 years old and rides an m & m. Thanks!

I shall be there this year, stewarding for the 3 days!! I did qualify 2 ponies, one for the Home Produced and one for the In hand silver medal championship. However, with the cost of diesel from Cornwall, along with stabling and entries I've had to make the decision that it just isn't financially worthwhile. Added to that, my foal would only have one class to do when he is there as there only seem to be 4yo and over classes in the mixed classes so I feel it rather unfair to transport him 250 miles each way and keep him in a stable for days. Also my mare would probably end up killing him if confined to barracks with him for so long!!

Leaving our in hand silver medal mare at home too after much deliberating, she is only four and I wanted to take it slowly with her this year ridden wise. Got another ridden qual with a different pony and the extra stable is just too much

Our Dales mare has qualified for the silver medal in=hand, home produced and the British Isles In-hand championships and the ridden silver medal, intermediate and open ridden championships. We are so proud of her.

When we paid a huge sum of money to sponsor the main ring, we were promised all sorts, including "priority permanent stabling". Today I got a note from the NPA saying that I had not booked a stable or paid for it so I couldn't have one. I havn't even got a sponsors lorry pass - do you think they are trying to tell me something??

That's terrible grumpy, and shows wonder why they struggle to get sponsors!!

i dont understand why they give out lorry passes when you can enter on the day. and it is just the picton championship in the evening. i think you can be any age to lead a pony in the worker. i was 14 when i lead some1 in it
