I find the most useful piece of bedroom equipment is a large tub of Vaseline . . . . . . . you put it on the door kn0bs to keep the kids out!!!

Vaseline and flurescent marker pen, one to keep the kids out the other so that you can mark whwt you're looking for once you've managed to find it !!
