I have just been looking a a schedule with a view to entering one of our ponies in the M&M Novice Workers qualifier.
Having read the rules it now appears that his NPS workers career is over already (he only started jumping last year) - due to him taking part in the Final at last years Summer Champs he is now excluded from competing in the Novices this year.
I know this is the same rule for the Pictons but he's a 12.1hh pony jumping in the middle height section & there is no way he (or his jockey) are capable of tackling the height of fences in the Open workers.
Has anyone else had the same problem?

What about the intermediate workers? They are only small about the same height as the Nov in other societies

It does seem hard Dancer 2 years ago my Section B qualified but we didnt put him in final and we were able to compete last year and he won the Final. We then moved to imtermediates and as Steph says they are no biggar than novices in other societies so give it a go Im sure both the pony and jockey will manage and good luck. If you qualify we will see you in the final!
