IS ANYONE ELSE HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE BSPA
I took my young stallion for grading in March ..I was warned that it is a bit of a closed shop as he is of no known parentage. However, I took him non the less . In total it cost me £500 after the 5 stage vetting ( sailed through) plus diesel and a 3 hour trip .
Now ..I judge myself , and don't see my chap through rose coloured spectacles , far from it , but he failed and the other 6 forward passed ..3 of which weren't sound, and quite honestly were awful !
Moving on from that I took their decision gracefully and politely and was told I would be sent the score sheet and the £45 refund for DNA within 7 days .That was March !
We are now in June and 10 emails and 3 phone calls later I still have had neither . Each time I get promised "it will be posted tomorrow" They don't want to give me his sheet for some reason and they certainly don't want to refund the money I am entitled to ....WHY ?
The odd thing is that I have shown my stallion approx 6 times in the 12 months I have owned him ... all good quality shows with listed judges ( some BSPA) albeit unaffiliated and he has won all except 1 where he was 2nd ( in a class of 19)I must also add , he is one of the best behaved animals in the ring as a rule !!
I don't stand him for general use, we only cover our own mares . I wanted him graded to be able to show . Are the 3 judges at the grading correct .. or the other 6 judges ?
Has anyone else come up against this ..or am I the only one
