It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Sedgehill Cavalier at the age of 28. He was put to sleep peacefully on Saturday following colic, and has been laid to rest. We had only owned him for 6 years right at the end of his life, but we believe that we gave him 6 good years; we got him back into show-ring condition, and we took him out to a party last year where he went multi-Champion, ironically one year ago today. We are thankful for the great pleasure he gave us while he was with us. Cavalier is most famous for being the sire of Lady Eleanor, also of the prolific winner Maid Marion of Quimper; we have a full sister to Eleanor at home, and his last foal is eagerly awaited, out of a grey Dryfesdale mare. RIP Cavvy go chase those rainbows, P & P
