could you hire/borrow a foaling alarm? They give you 1/2hrs notice I think so you could phone vet when it went off

312 days now LP her udders have reduced in size they were huge and waxed at the beginning of the week but have decreased considerably one side??! Vet seems to think she has it under control and has put a halt to proceedings xx

I reckon she'll have them both successfully and rear them in Tabithas memory and if you have a filly it should be called Tabitha!

KJM that's a fabulous idea tabithas proper name was miss tabitha and the mare that is in foal is called miss valentine (spooky!) so if I have a filly we will call her miss valentines tabitha, xxx

Sounding more promising everyday I so feel for you. We are in a waiting game again with ours but we are not in the same boat, its a worry even with a mare who is just waiting to foal never mind to be in the dilema you are in!!!! Our cob mare looks as wide as she is tall and I personally would have questioned what was in her if she hadnt been scanned!!!!!! She sits up like a dog to get up as its hard work!!!!! God knows what your mare is feeling!!!!!
