Here are some photos of the feral kitten now that they are 12 months old. Toby, the tabby, is adorable. He has come close enough in the last couple of weeks to be petted and now he appears as soon as he hears me in the yard. I have to go and sit in his stable so that he can get up on my lap and have a real big cuddle and fuss Minnie, the tiny b&w kitten hasn't been seen much since we had her spayed earlier in the year but has reappeared recently and she is now getting braver. Tonight when the rain passed I went to turn out the ponies again and they both appeared and wanted to play ball. They were then joined by Toffee, their brother who we found at an early age and hand reared. Whilst I was there I spotted the neighbours cat in the bottom hedge and when I went to investigate I found this visitor so chased the cat off.

Thanks, we have spent the last 18 months getting feral cats spayed and neutered with the help of Cats Protection League. To date we have done 9, hopefully that is all of the ones we have here.
They are now safe from endless breeding and fighting, and also get fed twice daily and have taken over one of my stables.
It is so rewarding to see how they can come around to be loving cats given time and patience. Toby is adorable yet is 12 months old and was never touched until a few weeks ago. Now he follows me around the yard, comes pooh picking with me and loves a cuddle in preference to his food.
