FOR SALE
Toyota hilux surf,Black, J REG, JAP IMPORT 2.4 TD.
It has at least 6 months m.o.t,alloy wheels...however its is in need of repair. The immobilizer is need of repair, some engine trouble unsure what exactly. Excellent project or for breaking. OFFERS OVER 250

Hello, i would be interested if you can find out exactly what is wrong with it, is it running? i have had a friend out to it that deals in car for a living, i first thought the electrics had gone but he managed to get it started by bridging some wires? he then explained the it was the immobilizer that was faulty also when he did get it started he said the engine was very tired and possibly the bottom end had gone, he did get it started tho... sorry cant be of any more help i am usless when it comes to cars |

i have one and love it, I had my immobilisor disconnected 4 years ago - might be worth looking into a reconditioned engine as the body of these cars are so robust.
