Yes polo i have, i totally agree with you! If there ever was any such thing as witches that would be them! They are absolute plebs and bullies. I also think they are stabbing themselves in the back, i mean who in their right mind would want to go to their shows in a couple of years time, when they are building such a bad reputation for themselves. I have heard quite a few people complaining about them now. Thats my rant over!

Well they have deliberately offended many successful and intelligent people should you offer an opinion that might challenge their biased sometimes ridiculous posts.. Certainly one to avoid unless your a Friend of a Friend's Friend or have actually managed to re-educate an ex-racer!!
It's o.k for novices who want advise on basic instructions on how to get on your horse and perhaps ride it occasionally.. Proud owners of nice horses have no place there and have been hounded out with vengence.

I have been on there almost from the begining and if the truth be told it is the most biggoted forum that I have had the unpleasure to frequent..... I thought the IH forum was bad enough but that place make the IH lot look like amatures! it used to be a nice friendly place but now it just seems like everyone is competing against one another.
Posts are moderated for no reason other than it goes against their view points, and if you don't fit in with their thinking then you are moderated and then banned..... where on earth did free speech go?
In my mind to make matters worse there are a lot of people on there that are now buying and selling ex-racers and "reschooling them" before seeling them on all I can see is a large amount of "unqualified" people turning nice green horses into problem horses ( I can see project horses doing well out of this!). TB's are not difficult horses but sensitive souls that can be ruined very quickly.
Some one should also ask to see their accounts as the money that they raise from shows, fund raising and merchandise is sure as H*** going somewhere!

I've heard alot about this forum you are talking about (if it is the same one). To start with there seemed to be alot of positive talk about it, but over the past year or so (think it's actually long to be honest) i have heard nothing but negative. There does seem to be alot of talk about where money is going from show entry funds, merchandise, etc. There also seems to be alot of talk about how it is actually run and there is no 'freedom of speech' as they like to make out there is. There also seems to be talk of alot of favoritism , is this really a way to run any forum? I was at one point considering registering but by the sounds of things, this is not a good idea. I have no wish to find out if i will be accepted into there 'little groups' or pushed aside like a piece of rubbish because they feel threatened.

Sounds like a weird CULT, rather than a so called 'on-line' support group

Yes, can be rather addictive to start, then comes the brainwashing!
what happened to some of the older members? They seem to have disappeared? Or were they also banned?

I run a small, unaffiliated show and was interested in getting qualifying classes. I questioned the reasoning behind entrantants having to be members of their club to be able to enter the classes (not just to qualify) and was subject to some very stern words when I refused to contain their classes if everybody who wasn't already a member (which was most people who subsequently entered our ex racehorse classes) had to pay an extra ?£10 on top of their entry fee.

I thought the ex racers club held classes at Derby County show? have they now been scrapped?

Post by DOGGY on Dec 13, 2007 17:39:31 GMT
It looks like it ,I think they have scrapped them from Derby County as well and Moorgreen, they may have too many with the ror and tarra ones . I think you will find that their classes are at local level only, good for beginners and novices.

Yes it seems that one of them is intent on singling one person out and mud flinging on whatever they can grab at, which seems totally misguided and false! How the reciprient remained so calm is amazing, I'd have been ripping her head off by now. Then again as she stated, the other person is such a shining example to the ex racers club! there was no answer for that one!
As stated by the poster above me, this is a senior member of their club, a representative of a National organisation and just look how she is behaving. Talk about bringing something into disrepute!

Give a dog.(be it drunk when posting)a bone...and let what was an imformative forum turn into a complete shambles... Totally disgusting behaviour..
Banishing a top judge!! and behaving like kids is not a proffesional organisation?? As for them crowing about ROR backing?? ..Jesus!!any decent horse is not welcome and slandered as too good?
Bring on the Cripples/un-schooled..throw them in a pit and pick a winner!
Yep!..I'm angry.

Banishing a top judge!! quote] Which top judge did they banish ? And what exactly did he/she do to be banished? Sounds very much like it's more of a childrens play ground than a club/forum

Well after reading the rabid tosh, that spouted from one of their "Senior" mods, on H&H forum over the weekend - I doubt that any show secretary would now consider holding their classes, given the odious manner in which they like to conduct themselves
