Hi dillydally. I wonder if they are keeping it an open class for arabs as this will be the first time (as far as I know) that they've been included - i know that partbreds were eligible but was under the impression it's the first time they have introduced a pure bred class - although I may be completely wrong. We are hoping to go with our pure breds, the first time we have ever competed at this show but as there are few qualifiers in our area will be hoping to qualify on the day. Does anyone know when the schedule will be out and who the judges will be?

Thank you for your comments. 2011 will be the first year that we have put in classes for Pure Bred Arabs - so this is very much of a "trial" for us. If the classes are well enough supported we will then look to run championship classes in the future. I had hoped to get the draft timetable on the Equifest website before Christmas - but have been a little delayed. It will be posted as soon as possible after the 4th January when the East of England offices re-open. We are running a full range of Arab classes though - pure / part and anglo - with classes for open, novice and home produced exhibitors.
Yours sincerely
Betsy Branyan
