i have four foals, of the type of pedigree i am familiar with, so generally am closish with 'mature heights'.
Having seen a freinds 13.2hh Foal today which she says will stay under 15hh ( and is younger then mine!) im now wondering whether the boy i thought would make 14hh actually will, as he is tiny compared to friends foal!!
how big are your foals? as im entering the foal show and am now worrying il put mine in the wrong 'not to exceed' section!!

huuge. All 3 foals this year i had were huge.
the one i have left, Lola, is out of a 15.1hh trad mare and by a 14.2hh trad stallion and she is standing 13,2hh at almost 5 months old

My friends foal is 11.2hh at the minute hes by a 13.2 stallion and out of a 15.3hh mare.

My colt is standing at about 13.1 at 5 months old!! Mum is 15 hh cobxtb and dad is 15 Welsh D so should make full up 15.1 cob type...fingers crossed!! x

My foals are standin 14.1 at 5 months old out of a 15.3 mare by a 16 hh stallion and the other 1 is standin 12.2 out of a 13.2 mare by a 13.2 stallion a vet told us to get a tape measure start at the split in the middle of the knee and measure to top of corinet band if its 13 inches that will make 13 hh that bone never grows in length

I measured two of mine the other day, the first born around 15th April out of a 14hh mare by a 16'2 stallion is measuring 121cms I was hoping for a 15 to 15.2 from this cross however not convinced at present as he is at about the same size as the foals to make 14.2hh
The other born 30th may - our Orphan - out of a 13.3 mare by a 14.2 stallion is measuring 122cms (125cms behind!!!!)

our filly is three months and 11.1hands atm she is out of a 14.2hh sec d by a 15hh trad coloured we hope she will make the 15hh

my filly is 10.1hh roughly her mum a 10hh exmoor and dad a 14.2hh trad coloured cob so not sure what she will make, she got plenty bone and feather already

My fillie is standing around 13 hands at moment - out of 15 hand thoroughbred mare crossed with 16.2 warmblood. She is five and a half months old.
