Hi there! I'm Daren, from Scotland, and I'm absolutely mental about Clydesdales! Sadly, at the moment I don't have one - though I have ridden plenty of them! I do, however, have a share of a black Irish Draft mare who's used by the local RDA group. Her name's Sally, she's 9 years old, 16.2hh and she's a total sweetheart. At the moment I'm attempting to school her as she came to us totally unschooled after being used as a hack for the past five years. Here she is, with me, not long after she first arrived: Ironically, I used to ride a Clydesdale mare, also around the 16hh mark, and ALSO called Sally! (I imagine there will be a few people on here I probably know, so a big hello to them! )

Hi Daren. Welcome. That's a fine big girl you have there.
Which part of Scotland do you hail from?

I'm up near Edinburgh. Sally is stabled up at our RDA yard just a few miles away. www.thorntonroserda.com - our group.

Haha she is called Eliie but more often than not referred to as 'the feral one' ;D Sweetest pony going if you can touch it - once in a blue moon it comes for a fuss - I could do with a harpoon at worming / farrier times

We have two of them in a field at our yard. I keep threatening to throw misbehaving children in with them...
