Woody is a part bred new forest.
He is a cheeky chap but very sensible for a 5 year old.
I have owned him since he was a yearling. last year was his first season out showing and he excelled in the show ring. He got several firsts at county level and he went on to qualify for equestrian life championships (open pony ridden), amature showing society (open pony ridden, and first ridden (by my friends 9 yr old daughter who can ride ok, and had only rode him 3 times previous). He also qualified and attended the royal london he is also already qualified for ROYAL LONDON 2011!!
He has done working hunter and show jumping and some xc schooling.
He got 58% in his first dressage test!
He is a fantastic little pony who would suit any member of the family, he can carry me (13 stone) my 8 year old son who can not ride can hack him out round the park off lead rein as i trust the pony that much!
Although if he is out of work for a while he can get a bit fresh when he starts work again but he soon sorts his head out and he loves to work.
He can live in or out, he is good with farrier, good to load and is upto date with jabs and wormers. He is microchipped.
He really is a dream pony and had he made 15.2 i would not be typing this advert!!
He only for sale as my son who he was origianlly bought for is more interested in his motor bike and the fact that i am looking after him and paying out for other people to come and ride him. I have a new horse arriving in a few weeks for myself so woody needs a new home.
I can deliver him at cost.
This is a heart breaking sale of the best pony i have ever had the pleasure to own, but i have to sdo this for him. I can not take where he deserves to be in the showing world due to lack of jockeys, in the right hands and with the right rider.......they will go far!!!
5* home is a priority so i am open to sensible offers.
He will come with all his rugs.
