I ordered one in spring and it finally arrived in november so I haven't worn it riding or at a show yet. The only photo I have of me wearing it is this one just before I went back to university (so no more I'm afraid!) I'm not sure if it's much more flattering on me than my old one was but it's definitely lighter and comfier

I got one for Christmas, not worn it to a show yet, but do think it looks much smarter and tidier than the H2000.

We have one for my son and it looks extremely smart (I will try to post a pic)! My daughter pointed out that it was a girl's hat (hence the name) and that he looked a bit 'gay' in it which didn't go down well at all! I would like to know if any other boys have one and what they think of them? I'm presuming it's suitable for either sex!

My teenage son has a 'fiona' black hat and it does look really smart and he says how comfy it is to wear.

I treated mine to one at the back end of last season and love it, so much more flattering on me than the H200 and its really comfy and light, plus I dont seem to sweat in it as much

I bought one for my daughter last summer. We tried every hat in the shop and the prices kept going higher and higher.
When I paid the bill, the shop assistant looked at me and said: 'You cant put a price on your daughters life. To which i replied, I dont think MY life will be living when my husband sees the bill'.
Seriously, it is lovely and she looks great wearing it.

Can anyone advise about the fitting of these hats? Are they larger or looser than others or tighter? I'm thinking of buying one over the internet and wanted to know whether to buy my normal size or one up/down.

I had to go for a size small than my H200, I would recommend that you go and try one on as the fit is different from other Charles Owen hats

I definitely think they come up smaller than the 2000

I have bought my daughter one as her h2000 fitted really badly as apparently she has a round head rather than oval or something?!! Anyway the h2000 sort of pivoted on her temples but this seems a much better fit. I didn't go specifically to buy a Fiona but it was the best fit!! Hope it brings her luck in the ring!!

Do they sit a bit deeper on the ears? I really dislike my h2000 as I feel my ears are popping out all the time! (not huge I promise!)

I used to have the Charles owen show jumper found it was too bulky as i have quite a round head. Now have a Fiona and it is my favourite light weight and looks neat and tidy. Also has silk inside which i find makes it a lot comfier.

I had mine fitted by the Charles Owen rep at Your horse live, Mine is the same size as my H2000, but she fitted a riser pad thingy in the front as the shape of my head tilts the hat back slightly (I was moaning about my H2 always tipping back onto my bun) and she also tightened the draw string (they have re-introduced the draw string into these hats) and now it fits and sits like it was made for me.....would very much recommend anyone buying one gets it professionally fitted if poss...suggest you ring Charles Owen to get in touch with a rep

I've just bought my daughter one, same size as her old CO hat and it fits perfectly, she says it's very comfortable and it looks lovely on her, both very happy with it. We got ours from gibbyxx on here, got it in super quick time and far cheaper than the saddlery near us
