My beloved ex racer Gunnabelil is due at the start of May to Mourne Mountain Star- she is so big and glossy but seriously waddling now. The yard are betting on a grey colt but I am wishing for a bay filly, nobody does bay like "Guns"

Coed-y-Wern Honeysuckle (despite her name she's an Exmoor)!! In foal to multi champion Hawkwell Versuvius. Due end of April/beginning May. No signs yet apart from an expanding waistline and another one who is waddling! Forgot to say I've ordered a filly, but as long as mum & baby come through safely, I shouldn't really be bothered!

M&H were hoping for 15.2/15.3 We put one of our TB mares to the same stallion in 2009 and we had a fabulous chestnut filly that has got movement to die for and very flashy. The mare that we bred from is now retired from breeding, but for her last foal she gave us a stunner. x

Dash is really very special. I have noticed that my baby daddy has been removed from newhill stud's card. I hope it isn't bad news- he was such a lovely stamp that he converted me to IDs ( I am a pretty head addict) I will get some pics but the std next door checked her three times today for signs of imminent foaling, she is soo big with 3 months to go! x

i have two highland mares in foal this year, trailtrow raffan rosie in foal to turing hill kylemore, due 25th april, and trailtrow tass in foal to rannoch of achnacarry due 30th may, am particularly excited about rosie's foal, it will be a very special baby, rosie is huge, but feel a bit sad that she is just starting to show her age with a wee bit of a dippy back. tass is just starting to look rounder too. mainly hoping for healthy foals and healthy mummies, but after two years of colts at least one filly (preferably rosie's if i had to pick) would be a bonus.

Lovely day today so I took the chance to have a walk round all the girls and check them. Our first 2 are due on about the 17th March but have only just started bagging up yet. One is huge, the other barely has a baby bump!
The old girl Dorlen isn't due until 31st of March but always likes to confuse me by bagging up very early and shedding her coat - She is unimpressed at the moment as normally I have panicked by this stage and bought her in thinking that the stud we sent her to must have got tyhe dates wrong and she could foal any day....
