TEXT LANGUAGEneed i say more?! reading it is so frustrating, i do have to admit, i lack respect (in some aspects) for the people who "tak lik dis cuz itz wel anoying n i hate it wen they replace numbers 4 words," seriously guys, how can you take things seriously when people are talking to you like they have come from another planet

ha i only use 'u' or '2' its well annoying when they do, i avoid the people who talk like that via text or facebook

I don't like it on here, but I do confess to using it on my phone  I have old school friends on FB that are Scottish and I have a hell of a job understanding them now. Not text speak, but Scottish slang ;D ;D ;D |

I cant understand it very well although one of my best friends texts and writes on FB using text speak, and she has a habit of missing out words, (On purpose I think) Its so hard to understand her sometimes, And impossible if she has been rushing whilst writing it!! lol.

children and "with it " sorts use text speak some adults on here use what i call baby speak which is just as annoying! ie ickle (little) foalie (foal) peeps (people) aaargh sorry just me being boring..

Oh! I agree, and, like Halfpass, I'm no-doubt just another 'boring old fart' too. While where at it, how about - po or ponio - (ie: shettie po) - lammi (it's a DISEASE, for goodness sake) - shettie - connie - darty - (etc) - and those who simply cannot write without saying - 'like'/ 'hehe' / 'lol'/ and using an - image/ image................. |

Im only 16 but can't bare text speak, I don't even use it when texting. Always type properley, I tend to ignore posts that I can't understand.

I get annoyed when people can't be arsed to use the correct capital letters and correct punctuation, then use some excuse as to why they don't use it....

Aarrghhh, I really cannot stand it! I've tried doing it as a joke before to my friend... It seemed to take ages to even type like that! Its so so so SO annoying! There isn't anyone that I talk to normally who types or texts like that, so I think I'll live! I also hate it when someone is talking to me on facebook or whatever, and puts kisses on the end of EVERYTHING they say! Haaaa ;D

i don't mind on the end of messages and stufffffffff < annoying? ha! its just when someones talking to me on chat and they just go, ' hey xx how are you?  xxxxx what you been doing?? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH :L got a bit carried away with the kisses because i was showing my anger! :L LOL |
