Born 2009 Height 15HH Sadly Took a turn for the worse this morning and will have to be put down this evening. I have only owned her 6 months and its the hardest decision i have ever had to make. And the 1st horse i have ever had to have put down. I'm going to miss her so much!

Vet Said Exhaustion but we have a feeling it was Atypical Myopathy, she was laid in the field unable to get up not through lack of trying but she has suffered enough! It was a heart breaking decision, but i cannot bear to see her suffer any longer. when i went to see her this morning you could see on her face she had given up and that look will haunt me forever! I kills me to put a horse down so young!

RIP Scarlett, she had a long few days bless her, you did the right thing. You couldn't do any more, I would honestly complain to your vet for negligence hun, they should have never told you its OK to leave her there for up to 5 days! x

We are complaining bud86! I'm not letting them get away with this! My 27 yr old mare isn't taking this very well with out her there as she prefers the company of youngsters so now i have to find a youngster to put in with her as she being bullied by the other 3 i have! Luckily apart from that they are all healthy
