Hi, My youngest daughter had a Ben Neagh pony to show for the owner/breeders quite a few years ago. He had a lovely temprement.
They are nice ponies and still do well showing in hand in our area (north east)
Nice people if you were to contact them I am sure they would be helpful.

Thanks for replies, had no chance to get back on here. Have spoken to Steve Greenwood before when wanted to register Prince Charming, sold him few yrs back just wondered how he was doing. I now own Ben Neagh Georgies suprise and would love to know her history, have got an address for breeder but unsure if would still be there 10yrs later? Thanks will write a letter though and see how I get on.

Lots of Ben Neagh ponies were given to friends of the family after the sad passing of Julia. Alot have been through sales and are dotted around the country now. Lovely ponies, Julia bred them all with a lovely temperament.

I purchases a beautiful pony in August this year Black 14.2hands Ben Neagh Elegant Fox, exquisite pony who was given away by John Fox Husband of the late Julia Fox. a charming gentleman and I am now in constant touch with him , and he is sharing in the future of his beautiful pony , ..... she did come to me through a local sales. ... My good fortune ! and is now in the hands of a mother and daughter who will hopefully show her until such time as I have her back to breed out of. , yes they are Beautiful ponies and a credit to Julia Fox RIP x

When did Mrs Fox pass away, I knew she hadn't been well a few years ago, but thought she had made a full recovery.

I recently bought Ben-Neagh Georgie’s Surprise (it’s Georgie for short tho) she teaches you a lot about patience. She’s amazing!! She’s my first ever pony/ horse and I wouldn’t wish it any other way. I love her to pieces even tho she reared today but she’s cute so it made up for it. I’d like to see a photo of her children does anyone have any??? You dint have to I just wondered since I wanted to know more about her past x
