Personally I would tell the wicked witch too p**s off How dare she! Unfortunately there are clueless/thoughtless/mindless idiots everywhere, and it doesn't matter what you say, you won't change her mind. I would just give her as little details about what is going on in your life as you can, and try not to mention the horses infront of her as she will use them as a tool to wind you up even more! Good luck xxx

Not sure I would be wanting to marry into that family!!!!!! Tell her very firmly to shut her mouth as what she says is of no interest to you!!!!!!

tell her to shut up! she has no idea about how fantastic the horse is, the bond they have with their rider is unbelievable, and if she can't understand that then FAIL! you are marrying in to her family whether she likes it or not, so tell her to put some effort in or shut up!

I wouldn't tell her to shut up - that will just cause more arguments. Agree to disagree at the moment and then, in due course, let her know how much your horses mean to you. You are taking her 'little boy' away from her and she probably thinks he is going to play second fiddle to a horse!! We, on here, know that he will, but there is no need to tell her (or him) that!! Good luck with the wedding. ;D ;D
