Us moderators have a great sense of humour ~ a gift which is sadly lacking these days.

Though none of us have met one another, YET, we all have something in common - namely a great sense of fairness, honesty and openness.
We do not need pseudonyms to make our point known.

As regards your excuse for bad spelling - just hit the spell-check button before you post. But, of course, you can't use this facility when you post as mollydog as you are not logged-in. Why don't you log-in on one of your original names then you can use the spell-check?

Would you like to explain exactly what it is you are trying to achieve Mollydog? It might save all of us a lot of time and trouble.

So is this purely an attempt to discredit the mod team? or is there some other motive which I'm as yet unaware of? We're going round in circles here and frankly, it's becoming a bit tiresome.

After being told of by friends, of a thread using defamatory remarks about someone close, I come on here and find it has been on here for at least 30 hours and not moderated. When I asked for it to be moderated there were no mods around, so I was told, as they have a life.

Surely, as you say you can confer with each other, it could of taken one mod to answer my remarks, but no you all came on here like a pack of wolves, again totally unprofessional.

In my Opinion, you should be proud to be chosen to be a moderator, a job of protecting people from the nasty comments which are sometimes used on this site, but it seems to have gone to SOME of your heads, and use them yourselfs.

This is not directed at all mods but a few. I have asked for help via pm and got a sarcastic reply back perhaps you dont know about that one. Its a wonder people get frustrated.

To answer your points:

Re the post about minus 500 karmas. You seem to be the only person who has an issue with it. This was done in fun, taken the same way, and as I recall, the karmas were returned after a couple of days. We do have a sense of humour, it's a pity not everyone shares it. Unprofessional? In my opinion no, just a bit of fun that shows we are human like everyone else. You will note that since you smited me three times since the start of all this I have not returned the favour.

With regard to your unanswered PM's. Can you tell me of one incident where you have PM'd me, and I have read your message and not acted promptly to sort things out for you? The reason I did not open your PM's on the day in question is because I had taken my children out for the day as they were not at school. Which I explained on the thread in question as soon as I was back on line.

You yourself have been determined to carry on this thread. The mods do not hide behind a guest name in order to make comments against another member. If you insist on making derogatory and accusing comments, we have every right to defend ourselves. I do not feel this is bullying, merely putting across our side of the argument.

As you have no longer any idea what goes on behind the scenes on this forum, how do you know about the 'nasty comments' which have been removed? I have personally removed guest comments which I could see concerned someone close to you, but I don't make a song and dance about it, I just get on with it. As regards criticism, constructive criticism is always welcome, but we have a right to reply as well, which you seem to construe in whatever way suits you at the time. I feel that you are constantly on the lookout for ways in which to demean and belittle the moderation team. Thankfully though, a lone voice.

Oh, and yes, I am very proud and priveliged to be a moderator on this forum, and I operate in a way which best serves ALL the members, not just the one or two who seem to shout the loudest.

Bundle, don't worry about the karma thing, I've been as low as -48 and up to 14, does it matter that some sad person is sitting for hours on end smiting you, or have you been seriously nasty and picked on someone?

Hi, I have just had a look at your posts, and there is nothing nasty or offensive in them. The only suggestion I can make is, has a junior been using your log-in name in the junior area? I think someone may have worked out who you are through the pony's names, and there is perhaps a bit of jealousy creeping in?

If you go into your profile, and ask to see all your posts you can scroll down and have a look. I may be wrong, but it's just a suggestion.

The only other thing I can say is, sometimes the more people know it bothers you, the more they do it.

No problem, nine times out of ten when karmas start disappearing it's over something outside of Horse Gossip. The thing is if they're not brave enough to say something to your face, they get some kind of kick from having an anonymous dig on here.
