Lol Sagey, a lot of them are doing dressage but only pony club/little peoples dressage. Was it a pally foal? if so he is a lanky little youth at the moment but I dare say in 3 yrs time he will be lovely - still has the dressage paces but will have to grow into himself. If you could squeeze yourself onto a 13.2 I have a lovely 2yr old partbred who will be stunning when he is older but I guess even a dainty lady like yourself would require a bit taller.

Sod showing. I am into drinking pimms and making lots of lovely friends on HG x LOL ;D Chicken flavour crisps or not I am now officially feeling sick having read the welsh pony sale thread - awful Sorry - I digress - I've just heard Eastenders won the best soap at the British Soap Awards - I can't believe it - it's rubbish - and I'm even from the Eastend

I've just answered in the Who's been in H&H thread, then realised it's the Jr Lounge thread and remembered it was in 1987/8 which is before any of that lot were born - how thoroughly depressing!!!

I dont know what it is about chicken crisps but they always smell mouldy to me! I know they aren't but I guess it's since they made me ill. I also can't drink tea - never have for over 40yrs cos when I was little I had some at my grandmas which had gone cold and the cream had separated on top and that made me sick. I think I must be odd!

kayjem, I do think you ought to try get a really good little dressage rider for your ponies and promote yourself as a dressage pony breeder. They go for fortunes.

Not at all KJM I gag at the smell or sight of Pork in a mustard sauce, it use to be a favourite of mine in M&S in my career girl non cooking days, but it made me throw up once and looked and smelt exactly the same on the way up as it had on the way down, can't even think about it now. Can't drink tea either - the only cup of tea I've ever had was when my pony was attacked by a dog when I was out hacking and the police drove me back to the yard, they gave me a cup of sweet tea, still can't stand the stuff as it always brings back the image of the dog hanging from my pony's neck.
Blimey I'm not being cheery tonight - probably cos I'm sugar deprived, I've put on 2 lbs so far on my first week of Slimming world and the weigh in is Thurs so not much time to at least go back to where I started!!!

I've tried Sagey but they just aren't about and any that are any good either have their own or just want to turn up at shows and ride them. Even if I starved myself to a skeleton(which obviously wouldn't happen, sadly) I would still be too big to school them at home.

At least you're making an effort Haggis - I have no will power at all when it comes to dieting. My OH has just come in and now we're watching blooming Eastenders all over again

Can we keep a look out for my friend who is looking for a nice riding club type, nothing special, safe for a 50 something lady. She is a very serious buyer, had two fail the vet, is very very wealthy and keeps them at home for life.

LP I took a pony to be broken today and I saw a car that I thought must be yours!! Were you on the A19 in a bubblegum pink stretch limo? If it was you I'm sorry I didn't wave but was hanging onto the steering wheel cos it was so windy

Sagey my friend breeds lovely RC event/dressage horses -http://www.narramorefarm.com/ this site isnt up to date as she now has a facebook page - www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Narramore-Stud/206469610070 The horses are absolutely gorgeous and very well started, er daughter who does all the breaking and schooling worked for William Fox Pitt. She may well have something suitable

Yumm sagey I hadn't thought of that I put Lea and Perrins in to lots of things but crisps I hadn't considered. Did accidentally pick up a bottle of Camp Coffee Chicory Essence which is a similar bottle and put a considerable amount into a shepherds pie once - it was an interesting addition which i haven't done again don't recommend it.
Likewise OH didn't realise there was a difference between hot chocolate and cocoa and put the hot chocolate into the chilli instead - that was FOUL.

Do you put cocoa into a chilli then HM? I love chillis and do them often but never heard of that one - got a nearly full pot of cocoa from a mare who had it to stimulate the milk - ooer does it give ladies big boobs??

Yep - that is yes to the cocoa in chilli bit - not the giving you bigger boobs bit LOL - though having said that generally me being grossly overweight caused in part by cocoa related products has resulted in my chest increasing greatly over the years sadly.
Cocoa goes fabulously to enhance the richness of all beef dishes - use it in chilli, shepherds pies and Boeuf Burg etc... just do not confuse it with Hot choc the milk powder and sugar in the hot choc doesn't do alot for a chilli I can tell you yuck.

I'll have a look at that facebook thing tomorrow when I am fresh brindle, you know how I struggle with it.
She wants above 8 years that has done a bit. She is a very nice rider but lacks confidence because her previous horse (now on loan) was a wolf in sheeps clothing. Went round like a lamb and then, for no apparent reason it seems half the time would just dump her. She was in a Robert Pickles clinic with me once and Robert scrunched a crisp, horse just dropped his shoulder and did a swerve, no chance. What a fall. I tell you I was pooping myself and I only saw it happen. It would have made the most wonderful Walkers Ad.
Then he dumped her finally and she was so injured she was bed ridden for about six weeks.
She has just had a section D (mind you I was a bit concerned about a D for her) fail a vetting. So she doesn't stick to a particular breed, a lightweight cob would be good.

The Narramore ones are generally 4 and 5 year olds but they get out and see alot and really are very well started and schooled. There are lots of pics on the facebook. They own the stallion as well and all his babies are very, very laid back and trainable Off out to check Ona and then off to bed Nighty night

MY mare would be perfect for her Sagey but I haven't ridden her since last summer. If she's not fixed up in a couple of months when I've got her up and running again I'll give you a shout although we may be to far away.

Sagey.. not sure how many going.. this is for a different company than mine as I don't particularly want to work for them any more.
The old girl is coming to the end of her days I fear.. she sleeps most of the day, gets up for dinner and to go outside.... she is getting quite thin now and I have to make a decision sooner or later... I would rather she went to heaven reasonably comfortable than wait till she is on her last legs..
Its knowing when the time is right that I am finding it hard....to be honest, its killing me right now.. :-(
