Zilla is lovely, I hope you find her a brilliant home. I dont think a horse is any use until it is 12. I love the mature horse.

I think she is absolutely gorgeous and would be my perfect horse I just cannot afford her at the moment, her age is still good, she is low mileage, she is well schooled, done a bit of everything, nice natured and willing, the odd excitable buck is not uncommon and obviously she isn't trying to unmount you she's excited. Stop me now! the more I say the more I want her  ;D I think her age could put some people off for insurance purposes, money is tight insurance has gone through the roof and people do worry about huge vet bills coming in. I sadly lost my beautiful mare earlier this year to colic and had a huge vet bill. My mare was unfortunatley uninsured, I ended up with 2 horses and 3 ponies last winter as 2 ponies came back from loan outgrown (the horse market hit rock bottom it was comning into winter and I would not sell them to just anyone and so I held out for the right buyers) We had all that snow so they had to be stabled and once in they had to be in every night in the winter, we had to move yards as we had no room and I really struggled with livery fees, part livery as I could not do them all, feed, shoes and hay, so I had to make cuts and cancelled her insurance (it was the stupidest thing I have ever done and I totally regret it now, heinsight is a wonderful thing). Your advert is lovely, she is a lovely mare and priced correctly IMO for the current climate. The right home will come along it's just a case of waiting. I would be inclined to advertise her on good sites such as Horsequest with other quality horses like her. Best of luck X |
