Still available
Synod bloodlines, superb mover, good amount of bone, substantial lad, he is looking stunning right now - is a very nice dapple grey, stands approx 13 / 13.1hh, 5 years old
having a field full of novice and youngsters I need a few to go to someone who has more time than I do to bring on, he is unbroken and I would describe him as a project pony as quirky
was produced as a yearling, gelded at 2, well socialised, is a grump especially over the winter far better in summer, is not good with the farrier but I do not have the chance to work on him
totally overstocked with too many babies
this chap could go far in the right hands
prefer to sell for a very reasonable price to a very very good home, would also loan
would swap, but can't take a colt and prefer to not be a youngster as we have many! unless one that is well handled as trying to reduce the amount of work required hence the reason he is being offered for sale/loan/swap
may suit a swap with someone with an older one that is looking for a quieter showing life and someone who is now looking for a new novice to take on
I am based south of Edinburgh
he is not broken in
he has not been handled much recently but has been in the past
he has only travelled twice, quiety, hesitant to load but practise makes perfect
he is not a childs pony, competent persons only
he is grumpy 60% of the time
he should become happy once broken and working as he is always the first to come and want something done with him!
hopefully the above will reduce any timewasters as had quite a few about him over the last few months
genuine enquiries only, best to come and view him first too
in a perfect world would love him to go and get shown under saddle, open to all suggestions (sensible ones anyway!)
