My Fell mare, now aged 27yrs, still helps me train youngsters to harness. My old Fell mare in her youth, she proved excellent in driving trails and we got to national level in open pony, very proud of her. Photo of Fell mare Merry at FPS Breed Show, and Fell mare Peggy a number of years ago in the Nottingham Harness Horse Parade.

nice posts and great ponies. Here are mine, all welsh a, all 'home trained' - this video was taken on the occasion of the left wheeler being in the team for the first time. He's by Haverford Floyd - a credit to the breed ! www.equi-graphics.com/guinness.html (flash video - might take a few seconds to load) brigitte

Thanks for the compliments Lisa...needless to say I am ever so proud of them and I'm thankfull every day for the moments of pleasure and fun we have together - would not know how to live without my welshies. Next project is to start a ride/drive Highland pony. My husband hopes I will just stick to one but I guess there is not much chance on that. As for as 'completely outshining' - no way...everybody shines with her/his driving pony...and shetties are fantastic ponies with a heart of a tiger !

This is Gypsy my 13.2 Irish cob - he is 18 now and we've been doing trials for 11 years, currently competing in the Advanced class at Nationals. Gypsy is my pride and joy - a HUGE character - but I am looking for an apprentice to bring on quietly for when his Ponyship decides to hang up his shoes and retire

How do we post pics on here very new to horse gossip but would love to share pics of my old boy in his first season being driven There's a thread in the forum help area, called 'how do I upload a picture please', it's got instructions how to upload pictures from photobucket. Also if you have the pictures on Facebook, if you right click on the picture, click 'properties', then copy the http code to your clipboard. Then come back to HG, click 'reply' on the thread, and when the box comes up, in the little icons at the top theres a little picture, bottom row fourth one in, and you should get a pair of IMG codes in brackets. Paste the http of your photo in between the brackets, then click 'post reply' and your photo should appear. Hope that makes sense! ;D

Ceulan Saled, this was taken last year as a 4 year old. He has been ridden this year and shown in all types of classes (lead rein, first ridden, child handler, dressage) that I have had no time to drive him. but I don't mind and I will start again now the season is over, ;D
