always jods or breeches and proper boots,keep my ponies as a kid with an old and strict pony club dc, you would not dare go out without correct kit, it is so deeply ingrained that at 41 i still quake if once a year i ride in muckers.

I ride in jodhpurs mainly, they are warm, comfy and give extra strength in the leg. I have been known to ride in jeans, but only in the circumstance that I had to ride last minute and didn't have any jodhpurs. I have also rode in leggings, but I find them slippy against the saddle, floppy (not helping my leg strength at all) and very un comfortable. If I had to choose my favourite, it would be jodhpurs or jeans! x

after having a rather embarrassing public accident where some very tight jeans split completely across the crotch during a lesson with many onlookers, I know wear much more flexible leggings

Jods sometimes but mainly leggings as i wear them when doing my jobs outside and you can move in them freely!
