Do you ever wish that just sometimes...... you could put yourself first ? YOu know you cant, as others need you not to spoil their lives/fun/etc etc But sometimes........god I wish I didnt have to  |

Yes, understand exactly where you are coming from.
A situation so often tied in with being a wife and mother.
Mostly it doesn't matter, but there are sometimes it most surely does.

Yes - its a mothers duty........ but sometimes its exhausting and the temptation to just be selfish and throw the towel in - just for a one off - is very tempting?  ?? Any way, since posting this moment of self pity - I have done my job and pulled myself together xxx |

LP i was thinking this today. Then i get in from work and the house looks like a bomb has gone off. My thinking there must be more to live than work and running round after other people cleaning up there mess.

LP you are a wonderful lady.. I agree with you.. And do you know what? I am booking my flight to Thailiand on Monday to go in Feb for 3 whole weeks  I am a single mum of 3 teenagers with no family no father to the kids to help financially or emotionally... I have struggled to bring my family up all by myself for 18years... But now sod them  i am off to Thailand for me And i cant bloody wait... yipeeeeeee xxxx |
