Grrrr currently on the look out for a new horse, preferably a large M&M, just been looking in the for sale section for the large M&Ms and most of the new adverts in there have very very little detail, no ages, no heights, no colour details, no price and no location!!! Surely these things are basic details It is so frustrating and doesnt suprise me that people cant sell their horses Moan over will go and look on horse quest and horsemart instead

Annoying isn't it! And I hate calling people just to ask for example where the pony is based, only to find they're at the other end of the country or what height it is, then too realise it's far too big/small, a waste of both of our time and a phone call that wouldn't have been necessary had they but basic details on the advert!

A showing home is someone who will show the pony so in that case you are a showing home. Have to disagree with you on the turn out though, I think most show homes turn out by day.

I agree with kayjayem - mine have always gone out as much as possible.

I think area, price, colour and size are a must in ads, this really is the most basic info needed.

Its really annoying. When I did my advert, I included all the things I would want to know, I think, Breed, Colour, Height, Age, Price and Location are a must. I also think a photo should be added. I skipped through so many adverts without pictures... Especially on websites likke horsemart.

I do think these days of technology it is vital to be able to offer a video, walk trot and canter both reins for ridden horses of a reasonable value.
I think of those advertisements I have rung lately my questions have been:
What is the price? (at this point I might say thankyou but not for me)
Where are you? (thank you, too far)
Do you have proven results (thank you, but at that price ........)

I often don't bother looking at adverts if the pictures are not available, one persons quality is not always another so I wouldn't pursue in enquiring about a Top Class horse without knowing the necessary information.

People not putting their location has got to be top of my 'bug bear' list & only a mobile number so you can't even get an idea from the area code You spend hours trawling though adverts and think you have found something that sounds about spot on only to be told it blooming miles away
