Its all about the blue stabling. Loads and loads of parking spaces right outside the stables. Very close to rings 1,2,3 and 4! Where we park every year with no problems. Well done to everyone! Thank you equifest and bspa for 2lovely shows.

Had a fab week, but was told by Lynn Russell that my 16.1hh horse was too small to be in the Equifest hunter class and should be measured as a small hunter! Have to say though, looking at the size of some of the 'small' riding horses and hunters, she wouldn't have looked too out of place. quote] and then people wonder why there are complaints about producers bending the rules

simply can't believe you guys are arguing over what is essentially a parking space, surely there are more serious things in life to worry about? It is this sort of attitude that makes my partner think us show folk all have a screw missing, and I can sort of see his point!!!

I know I have posted our bits of results on here before but wanted to put them all on as I am one very proud mum...
Townend Patience... our little fell
5th Restricted fell dales 3rd HP NPS Fell dales (pulled in top) 4th Equimax Fell dales championship 9th HP NPS Junior Large (pulled top - wrong legged twice grrrrr!)
Done other classes but to get two top of line pulls in huge classes in one day with different judges made our day! So proud of my daughter who is only 13 and took it all in her stride... Poppy the pony performed beautifully and powered out like a train ... what a trot!
Well done to everyone competing ... such superb quality, and such friendly people!

Could we please get back to the results, no more moaning, put your gripes to the organizers, the Equifest team. They can look into your concerns & hopefully make the appropriate improvements for next year. The shows over and I for one had a very nice time. Its our second year and we will be returning for a 3rd.
My Granddaughter was placed in all her classes against some very good competition. The highlight of the week was her 1st & reserve ring champion. Met some very nice people & hope to see them again next year. Well done to all who took part. Thanks Equifest for another fab show.

I have finally worked out which of our cobs got what - was very tired when we got home Tia (Calamity Jane II): 5th Concours 1st open LW cob and Champion open cob 6th open LW (Friday) 5th Restricted cob 2nd Open LW (saturday) but stood below Jayne Webber so VERY pleased with that 4th Nupafeed / Equifest LW cob Charlie (Spartacus) 2nd Novice LW 7th open LW (Thursday) 10th open LW (Friday) 6th Open LW (saturday) 6th Nupafeed / Equifest LW cob Thrilled with all our results but our highlights were Tia's championship win in the evening performance and Charlie's 2nd in the Novices. And we were SOOO pleased with them both in the Equifest final in a really strong class when both horses were really tired. A fantastic show - can't wait for next year - planning our trip already BTW big well done to Bev Gowan and Riversway Rupert in the Equifest final - he looked superb and was a worthy winner. Good luck at HOYS babe xx

we were all booked into go this year but due to transport issues i stayed at home and decorated instead. This thread started off fairly positive and i was quite sad on missing out on all the fun. However as it has gone on, the gripes about judging (although do feel extremely sorry for Georgia), food, hook ups, arguments i'm starting to feel glad i stayed home. Please can we have some really positive comments so that i'll want to go next year? Otherwise i may just stay home and decorate again. It sounds like a lot of tempers were getting very frayed which is understandable given that so many people put so much effort, time and money into getting there and expecatations are so high. However, you are all lucky to get there with your horses so please remember those of us who were so dissapointed not to attend this year and had to be content with scraping off wallpaper and watching paint dry! Well done to those in the ribbons and commiserations to those who didn't but i hope most of you will look back and realise you did quite enjoy it after all and go again next year

Equinational did the majority of the rings. Flash harry I think mainly did the working hunter ring 1.

Just like to say that this was our first time at Equifest and i think that the organisers should be very very proud of themselves. I know everything didn't go quite according to plan but with the size, number and different types of horses forward i was very impressed. Isuppose it helps that we some fantastic results with my son Daniel getting into the Thursday and Friday night performances where he showed his amazing Sec A fill Rhencullen Chatterbos to perfection resulting in been Reserve Equifest In hand M&M. Well done babe you and bella were amazing. x
