..... WH ring 1 was THE best course yet however the ground did get very slippy and after this i was causious to jump down the hills, also the traingin class should stay in this ring because it is such a learning curve it as like a mini XC course and gave younger ponies to experience it and it was great fun, possibly could there be a propper water complex in this ring would be interesting? last thing more food stalls or different to this year have a jacket potato or chinese stand ...... erm, this is working hunter scottymac and horses and ponies are expected to cope with different types of terrain ~ we use studs in our m&ms shoes when we know they will be jumping on grass and this does give extra grip ..... i watched a lovely gentleman taking a group of children around WH1 on foot one morning and they were having so much fun together with their training, he was doing a fabulous job and really on kids level when it came to getting the point over ~ a pleasure to watch and another brilliant idea from Equifest i agree with you re. the food stalls, not enough choice in past years, same old .. remember the days of those fabulous pancakes and toasties @ East of England ... yummmmmm ;D

Absolutely love the show!!!! Just a couple of things really..... 1. The whole system of everyone parking all over the place at the gates to find out there stable number was a nightmare, so mug better when it came with the entries. 2. My biggest problem of last year.... GOLF BUGGIES!!! I mean really! Are they that necessary? I was situated right opposite my red stable last year, had the pony tied up outside the trailer getting him ready for a class, and a golf buggy comes flying round the back of him and up the side of the trailer spooking him, he then kicks out and catches me right on the elbow. Now to be honest sorry just didn't cut it! Why not just walk like the rest of us? 3. Lack of seating for evening performances. Love watching them but being only 5ft 2 unless I get there mega early for a seat or get within the first row of standing, I cant see Positives : FAVOURITE SHOW OF THE YEAR!

I agree with the seating issue - but is it something that Equifest can really act on? Not sure if there's enough room for another seating area?

I have had a few concerns which have already been voiced and were teething problems.
One of my main issues was the quality of the food, it was awful as well as the service provided by the caters. We was camping and run out of gas so ended up having this problem with having to eat inside. There was only one place "pizza" that provided a good quality half decent food, it would be lovely to have more eating places and something done about the amount of Wasps that was there. In the mornings there was lots of rubbish left around that attracted the wasps and i felt they could have been cleaned up.

dont worry about running out of gas, stable management team in blue area, start to get bored after you are all stabled, only joking, at another big show we do, we go on "shopping runs", now, by this I do not mean a weekly (monthly) tesco shop, but we will try and help you out, as we appreciate it can be difficult parking a six horse lorry in a Tesco/sainsbury car park. So this year "Keep Coooooking". ;D
